We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The view of the valley and mountains from the lobby, room, and onsen was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they spoke English fluently. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the traditional Japanese decor added a special touch to our experience. Additionally, there were two large onsen, one inside and one outside, both with the same incredible view. We also appreciated the delicious food and the staff's willingness to accommodate special dietary requests. it was the perfect place to stay for a visit to this city.
Not obvious to find.

The onsen was the highlight of my stay with a breathtaking view of the valley and mountains. The food was delicious, and they were quick to cater to my dietary requirements. , the staff was courteous and went above and beyond to assist with our transportation needs.
Some areas of the property seemed worn out and could use a bit of maintenance. some of the information we received about local transportation and attractions was outdated, making it a bit challenging to plan our daily activities.

I recently stayed at a traditional Japanese ryokan surrounded by a beautiful forest. The staff was incredibly kind, offering transportation to the nearest bus station. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the Japanese Alps. I especially enjoyed the onsen, with both indoor and outdoor baths overlooking the stunning Matsumoto valley. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The ryokan provided a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and immersing oneself in Japanese culture.
Some areas of the ryokan seemed to need a bit of maintenance, but it did not diminish my overall experience.

The view from both onsens was amazing and definitely the highlight of our stay. the staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. As for location, it was convenient to have a shuttle to drop off at the train station. It was also a good surprise to have delicious food served in a timely fashion.
It was pretty inconvenient to find out that many of the areas throughout the hotel were in need of renovation. Despite the nice view and tasty food, the facilities were outdated.
